Where there is unity there is power. According to God’s Kingdom, this power is able to be released
when we discover the laws that govern the realm of the Spirit. Webster’s defines a law as:
Any rule or established principle expected to be observed
A law affects anyone irrespective of who cooperates with it. Whether or not we understand
the purpose and wisdom behind a law has a great effect on our ability to benefit and participate with it from a pro-active
position, rather than passively being affected by the strength of its principles.
As an example: before traveling to a foreign land, it would be best to study up on the language, the
culture, the currency, the customs, and the geography. The level of detailed knowledge you possess about the country you are
traveling in, will greatly determine whether or not you thrive, prosper and enjoy your visit. It also determines the level
of your security as well. If you are going to live there, it is even more important that you accurately inform yourself about
the country and its laws. As in the natural realm, gravity is a natural law that everyone is subject to.
We know because we’ve all fallen down! Consequently, we would never risk stepping
off a skyscraper because our understanding of the law of gravity tells us death would result. We would never let anyone tell
us differently. Conversely, in the Spirit, we are courted by demonic principalities and powers to neglect the laws of the
spirit, especially the law of agreement where our righteousness in Christ is concerned. Scripture declares, unless two are
agreed, how can they walk together?
Walking together pertains to fellowship, not relationship. There are many things I don’t agree
with my siblings on that affect our fellowship. But, that can never change my relationship to them. We are of the same bloodline.
We are related by the same blood and DNA. My ability to annul our relationship is out of my power because I am not the author
of our workmanship. In the natural, my earthly father is. In the Spirit, God is. There is a great release of anointing and
grace that explodes in our spirit when we come into agreement with what God has established as the law of righteousness. Religion
and legalistic teaching is contrary to that law and in the Spirit, causes God’s children to step off spiritual skyscrapers
into the abyss of shame and doubt as we follow their precepts. It is on the skyscraper, from glory to glory, where our vision
is expanded to see for mile after mile. We need to get up into the realm where God’s vision becomes our own. It’s
time to walk in agreement according to the law of love established in the righteousness of Christ and let no one tell us differently!
When a person discovers the righteousness of God in their life, they begin to filter His
Word through that righteousness. Where easy Christian clichés and catch phrases would have gone un-debated and swallowed as
revealed truth, a hunger now grows for the intimate knowledge of God and His character. Sustained by a confidence that grows
from His righteousness, the leading of God’s Spirit begins to prompt thoughts or beliefs that become actions. The reality
of God’s Kingdom comes alive in them.
Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost is the Kingdom residue that flows from behind
a torn veil. Righteousness is the first key ingredient because it produces security to trust God’s love. Once righteousness
is established in the heart, Peace and Joy flows as a river out of our spirit. This is how real faith incubates and becomes
the faith of God in us. Actions are based on belief in Gods revealed righteousness by the Holy Spirit and sustained by persistent
confidence that he will honor that which He has spoken. Faith only works by love. (righteousness) see Galatians 5:5-6
It has been said, anger is a secondary emotion to fear. This is why Jesus experienced
hatred at the hands of the Pharisee’s and Sadducees. They feared the freedom He offered, believing it made them irrelevant.
Those who are stuck in the rut of religion find themselves competing with those who possess the freedom of the Spirit that
Christ purchased in His blood. Those who are free will not give up their freedom for any price, nor for any compromise against their heart. Others
might believe the one who refuses to be bound to traditional views or refuses to compromise or be tolerant is one who is arrogant,
high minded, confrontational and antagonistic, iconoclastic perhaps? No, this is the spirit of a son being readied for war,
a war we became involved in when we entered into the family of God.
The
Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent, take it by force. Those who become spiritually violent are the ones who possess
it, are sustained by it, are empowered to prosper by it, are granted extraordinary favor and blessings by it, walk in a greater
dimension of grace and wisdom by it and experience a greater sense of the love of God by it. These
benefits are the spoils of war that Satan wants to rob from God’s people. How does he do it? The same way he’s
been doing it since the garden. By talking God’s children into surrendering their authority and having them believe,
from that day to this they are still naked and unclothed, that we are nothing more than what we appear to be on the outside.
He still uses the same line, “Did God really say?” You could say that the law
of the Spirit of righteousness that God operates out of has an alternate universe, a flip side. What is it? It is a spirit
of religion and legalism that empowers the traditions of men to operate a form of godliness, but ultimately denies the Spirit
of righteousness any power to have an effect in their lives. Countless millions are united on this one. The power it yields
is cataclysmic in its scope and engulfs the entire globe. Its grip knows no bounds and respects no persons or earthly power.
In Paul’s writing to the church at Colossi, he said many profound and direct things that we would do well to heed today.
Chapter 2 of Colossians is where the body of Christ should camp for awhile. In verse 8 He warns,
See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his so-called philosophy
and vain intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain nonsense) following human tradition (men’s ideas of
the material rather than the spiritual world) just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the
universe and disregarding the teachings of Christ the Messiah..................
