THUNDERCHILD

Too many believers who profess Jesus as Savior are living below His standard of Kingdom living. Father say's "I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”

We need to become intimately aware of His wish and understand how this process works in our lives. Anything short of the fulfillment of His wish in our lives is evidence of our destruction and merely existing, not really living the life He paid for in His own blood. I pray that His spirit opens the eyes of your understanding to this truth. Believe it or not, there is a huge difference between thriving and surviving. So much so, that it can be a matter of life and death, the realizations of our dreams, the thrill of victory or the agonies of defeat.

It’s the difference between circumstance happening to you or making life happen through you. At all times, 24/7, these two laws or principles are at work in the world and affect everyone irrespective of race, social position or economic status. If your body is breathing air, you are actively or passively participating with them. These two laws are established in God’s Word as (the law of sin and death), and (the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus). These two laws govern the World and the Church (the body of Christ). The operation of seedtime and harvest (The Kingdom,) is what gains us access into the power of these two laws. For those who have already gone before us, the testimony of their lives and the legacy they leave behind is measured by how well they understood what I’m about to try to explain.

The hard reality is that this world can be a harsh place to handle. Babies aren’t born with silver spoons in their mouths and all of us are conceived and born into this world on a level playing field. That playing field is a world cursed in sin. Adam was created to thrive and multiply. In Romans chapter 5 it describes his disobedience which produced the curse and death that all men have been afflicted with. Man has been trying to survive ever since the fall against the wisdom and knowledge of God and just hasn’t been able to get the job done. Survival mode is always the result of failing to understand God and His Word. It is always due to our lack of trust in God’s integrity. Adam was deceived to believe; maybe God’s intentions were not totally in his favor. His new sense of shame whispered, “Maybe God is holding out on his best, that all those walks in the cool of the day were nothing more than a set up.” That maybe God was promising more than he could deliver or really intended to give. Adam and Eve walked with God in the cool of the day as God showed them how to exercise their dominion over the earth and the garden. They were used to the voice of the Lord because they walked with him openly and daily. The day they disobeyed, they heard the voice of the Lord as before, only this time they were hiding from it. The cool of the day is a term for the wind or (wind of the spirit).

Hold on to your seat! Adam’s fellowship with the Father, before his disobedience, was so close and intimate as they walked together that you could describe it as spiritual intercourse. He was one with God. In His exact image and likeness, they were deeper than one flesh, they were one Spirit.

That is why marriage between a man and woman is a holy thing created and intended to produce the intimate fellowship and communication that Adam and the Father shared. Those walks in the garden were a courtship of love. For Adam; it caused him to flow in Zoë, eternal life, the very life essence of who God is, the kind of life that flows abundant in quantity and excellent in quality. As for God, it only increased his intensity to, “So love that he gave all” found in John 3:16.

It’s incomprehensible for the natural mind of man to understand how God can love us in spite of our abuse of his goodness and mercy. Yet, his love is our only hope. Through the experience of His love, we learn to trust God’s character. This combination of love and trust anoints our ear of the Spirit to hear Him clearly and produces a heart of obedience.

(see Philippians 2:13)

We soon begin to realize, His goodness leads us to leave our ways and follow His. This opens the door and floodgates of the pre-ordained life of the Spirit. Man was created to live this way, from the inside out, not the outside in.

Once again, The Word declares in Proverbs 4:23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and ABOVE ALL THAT YOU GUARD, for out of your heart, flow the springs of life.

It sounds like God is warning us to be cautious and aware that there is a thief in the neighborhood somewhere close by. Sounds like a major priority to me. What do you think? In examining His Word, we discover what the causes are for those who exist in survival mode outside the realm of the Kingdom of God. We also discover how those in the Kingdom come to understand the reality of its realm and ultimately end up thriving in the process. It is the entrance of His Word that brings light of revelation, in the knowledge of Him as well as encouragement and correction so that we can be all He created us to be.

My question is; are you surviving? Survival is an art form. Did you know that? Yes, just like a painter paints, an actor acts, or a dancer dances, it takes quite a bit of creativity to carve out your own niche to survive in this life. Some of us survive better than others. Our ability to be creative, combined with our ambition to succeed and be seen can all too often appear as if a man or woman is thriving, when in reality as far as God is concerned, they are living in survival mode. Too many people merely exist in this world and don’t really know what real living is. Real living is not summed up in the accumulation of things, positions of power or social status.

Real living starts when our lifestyles become anchored in His Word of Righteousness. As His anointing flows through us, His life effects and changes our circumstances, establishing His Kingdom in the earth as we yield to His purpose.

We need to understand that our lives are birthed from His purpose and that our umbilical cord to the Holy Spirit in accord with the anointed Word of God, is what feeds nourishment to our spirits to truly live the lives God intended.

OUR LIVES ARE BIRTHED FROM GOD'S PURPOSE. YOU ARE GOD'S MANIFESTED PURPOSE IN THE EARTH

Jesus said; I am the Way the Truth and the Life. That tells me, there is no other Way, no other Truth or Life found in anything other than Him period. He is the source of all things. If what you are seeking in this life is not tied to Him or if the relationships you have with people are not built around Him, you are wasting God’s purpose for giving you life and allowing Satan to steal your God-given destiny. It is alarming to discover so many believers who have come to the saving knowledge of Christ, stagnate in their growth and failing to mature in the principles of Kingdom living. There is no doubt as far as God is concerned, they have been saved, born again and spiritually translated into the Kingdom of His dear Son. But experientially, they have no clue as to what the Kingdom of God is or how to function in it. Our western culture is so fast paced and performance oriented that we spiritually feed with a sound-bite mentality. After all, who has time to diligently seek God and make a buck, feed the kids, pay the bills, go to P.T.A., attend the football, soccer, and basketball games, booster meetings, plan for college and/or find that perfect someone. But, if we can just get to the early Sunday service that lets out just before kick-off, maybe we’ll get just enough of a Word from God to get us through till next week or possibly Wednesday night. After all, most think it’s really the ones who attend Wednesday service who are really the ones seeking God anyway. I know it’s harsh to hear, but it’s true. I may be stepping on someone’s toes, but it’s in the hope of possibly breaking a few, so that maybe we’ll slow down, stop running and fall at His feet and get our purpose back, our vision corrected and the light of revelation knowledge flowing in our life. The Word declares; the tradition and religion of men make the Word of God of no effect. Too many of God’s people have become professional Christians. (They learned from the professional preachers they sit under) They have the lingo down pat (christianese) the clichés all memorized and the motions all rehearsed, when it’s time for Sunday and Wednesday curtain call, the show goes on as usual...........
